Marianne De Munck
Administration
My name is Marianne, and I work as an administrative assistant at VAE. With over two years of experience at this company, I ensure that all administrative tasks and bookkeeping are handled with precision. My main responsibilities include preparing financial records, filing taxes, paying bills, and processing payroll. While I have limited direct contact with clients, I am deeply involved in the company and provide an essential contribution.
My entire career has been focused on administration and bookkeeping. After working for many years, I took a short break to focus on my family. During that time, I realized how much I missed working and decided to return to the workforce. This led me to VAE, where I use my extensive experience in administrative roles and my self-developed system to bring structure and organization to the company.
What gives me the most satisfaction in my work at VAE is creating order and structure. It feels great to know that everything is meticulously arranged and nothing is left to chance. Even though my technical knowledge is limited, I’ve learned a lot about the engineering sector by talking with my colleagues, like Thomas. This has helped me better understand and perform my role within the company.
In my free time, I enjoy cycling and diving into a good book. My favorite genre is historical fiction, like “The Seven Sisters.” I also love quizzes and am always looking to expand my knowledge through self-study.
I excel in administration and hope that my work at VAE will allow me to improve other skills, particularly in technology and languages.
As a colleague, I want to be seen as the “housekeeper” of VAE—the one who ensures everything is in its place and nothing is left unattended. My goal is to contribute to an efficient and structured work environment, so both colleagues and clients can rely on me.
